Returns Policy


Overview

Penflex is committed to producing reliable, high-quality products. If a customer receives an item that is damaged or defective, Penflex will replace it. This applies regardless of which retailer the customer purchased the product from.


Eligibility for Replacement

A product qualifies for replacement when:

  • The item arrives damaged, dry, cracked, broken, or defective.
  • The issue is reported within a reasonable period after purchase or delivery.
  • The damage is not caused by misuse, neglect, or normal wear over an extended period.

Very Old Products: Items that fail due to age or extended storage may not qualify. These cases are assessed individually.


Houseware Products

Houseware items rarely reach end users in a damaged condition. However, if a customer receives a damaged or defective Penflex houseware product, it will be replaced under the same terms as stationery items.


How to Request a Replacement

Customers can request a replacement by contacting Penflex directly and providing:

  • Product name or SKU
  • Description of the issue
  • Proof of purchase (if available)
  • Clear photographs of the damage or defect
  • Contact details for follow-up

Replacement Process

Once a claim is submitted:

  • Penflex reviews the issue and verifies eligibility.
  • Approved claims are replaced at no cost to the customer.
  • Penflex may request the damaged product be returned for inspection. Instructions will be provided if needed.


Exclusions

Replacements may not be issued for:

  • Damage caused by improper use or handling
  • Items that have deteriorated due to age
  • Issues that cannot reasonably be verified


Purchases from Retailers & Distributors

When products are purchased through third-party retailers or distributors, Penflex may coordinate with them to ensure the replacement process is handled efficiently. Customers will not incur additional costs.


Consumer Rights

This policy aligns with the South African Consumer Protection Act and does not limit any statutory rights customers may have.

Penflex may update this policy periodically. The latest version will always be available upon request or via the official Penflex website.
